The irony of modern life and its connection with ancient tradition suggests the more we are wronged by our modern environment and those within it, the more we feel the need to express.

There is no simple explanation for why we mark our bodies and decorate ourselves with piercings, however we at Body Art-Cranbrook inherently believe that not only is this an integral part of human existence but a necessary one.

From turning negative self harm into positive self harm, from trauma to rebirth, from loss to gain, tattoos are piercings are known to heal, build self esteem, gain identity and remember lost loved ones.

We strongly feel this service must be accessible to all irregardless of age, creed, ability, mental health, sex, identity or belief. 

We wish everyone’s experience with Body Art-Cranbrook to be a positive one and our clients are more than welcome to bring someone with them for any type of booking as long as they are of an appropriate age.
